The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 75.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's overall score of 68.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is a bit heavier but just a little thinner than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a bit larger display, a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a lot better quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's memory to install games and applications is very similar to the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 one, they have exactly the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a slower graphics co-processor working at 450 megahertz, it also counts with a larger number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs more money than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
