Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a score of 75.2, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's global score of 67.8. These tablets work with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's body is just a little bit thinner and way lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, even when both were released with only 3 months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a 450 megahertz GPU and a Quad-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 512 MB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher number of pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher 2560 x 1600 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way better 1920x1080 video definition. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
