Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), with a overall score of 75.2 against 70.2. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even though Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is older than the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), it's body is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has less processing cores (but faster), and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) captures a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has slower video frame rates, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), because although it has an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 7300mAh battery size.
