Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, having a 75.2 score against 74.5. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is extremely older than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, it's construction is much lighter and just a little thinner. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an older 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1600px resolution and way more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 400 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and a camera in the back with an 8 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also by far the cheapest one.
