The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, with a 75.2 score against 74.2. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is noticeably older than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, it's construction is a little lighter and just a little thinner. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has Android 11 version.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater screen density and a much better resolution of 2560 x 1600px. Galaxy Tab A7 Lite counts with much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 count with extremely similar CPUs, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and 4 more 2300 megahertz cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 6 percent more battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs.
