The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, with a overall score of 79 against 75.2. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 design is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's, although it's much heavier and noticeably thicker.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a greater pixel density, a higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 5% bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
