Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, having a 77.5 score against 75.2. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro construction is extremely newer, but noticeably heavier and way thicker than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active Pro has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a lot higher pixels quantity per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with much more storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much higher 13 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 58% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
