The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than the Sony Tablet S, with a 75.2 score against 57.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's body is a lot newer, incredibly lighter and way thinner than the Sony Tablet S. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0, providing you some additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much better performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has a larger amount of RAM, an extra graphics processing unit and a greater number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much sharper display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a lot better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a superior camera than Sony Tablet S, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has just a bit bigger storage to install games and applications than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Sony Tablet S has a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 4 percent more battery size.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper.
