Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a little bit better than Xperia Tablet Z, having a 75.2 score against 68.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 construction is newer and much lighter than the Xperia Tablet Z's, but it's also a bit thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a much better graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 2560 x 1600px resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better camera than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a lower (Full HD) video quality and a back-facing camera with a worse 8 mega pixels resolution. Xperia Tablet Z features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, both of them have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB and equal internal storage.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, making this tablet an obvious call.
