Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is slightly better than Xperia Z2 Tablet, getting a 75.2 score against 69.8. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the older 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is thicker but incredibly lighter than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and both of them were released only a few months apart.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and much more pixels per display inch. The Xperia Z2 Tablet and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 both feature quite similar CPUs, and although the Xperia Z2 Tablet has a greater amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores and a 450 MHz GPU.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 shoots better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a worse 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lower (Full HD) video quality.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is more expensive than Xperia Z2 Tablet, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
