Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has an overall score of 74.6, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's score of 73.9. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) construction has the same thickness than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but it's a little lighter. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px and more pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has lower video frame rate, they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
