Comparison review

Google Pixel Slate is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, with a general score of 79.3 against 74.3. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 OS. Even though Google Pixel Slate is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, it's heavier and just a little thicker.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite lower 1600 x 2560px resolution and a just a little lower pixel amount in each inch of display. Google Pixel Slate features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a bit better CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. The Google Pixel Slate captures better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both have a 8 mega pixels resolution back camera, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a really longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab S 10.5, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
