Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has newer 4.4.2 version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a newer and thinner tablet than the HTC Flyer, although it's also somewhat heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much better screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a much larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a way greater pixel density.
