Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a lot better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a 74.3 score against 57.6. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an older 4.4.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy Tab S 10.5's construction is somewhat thinner than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it is way heavier and was released 2 years before.
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a bit better processing unit than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of them have a 3 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a sharper display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a really larger display, a bit higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has more internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much longer battery performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
