Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a bit better than Apple iPad 3, getting a general score of 74.5 against 71.1. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 OS, while Apple iPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 OS. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is incredibly newer, much lighter and noticeably thinner than the Apple iPad 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a little sharper screen than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a quite better processing power than Apple iPad 3, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more CPU cores. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has slightly more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad 3, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
IPad 3 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot less mega pixels resolution back camera. Apple iPad 3 counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 11560mAh battery size.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a lot cheaper, making this tablet an obvious call.
