Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is slightly better than Google Nexus 10, with a general score of 74.5 against 68.1. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a newer tablet, and it's also noticeably thinner and lighter than the Google Nexus 10.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little sharper display than Google Nexus 10, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1600, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also counts with a little better pixel count per inch in the display. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a little bit better performance than Google Nexus 10, because it has more cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a lot higher resolution camera. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 10, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Google Nexus 10 counts with a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 9000mAh battery size.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also cheaper than the other tablet.
