Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad X2, getting a general score of 74.5 against 72.7. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is older and somewhat heavier than the Huawei MediaPad X2, it's body is still just a little bit thinner.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bits processing unit. The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little lower screen density and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a back camera with much less mega-pixels and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
