Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, getting a global score of 74.5 against 65.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also much thinner and lighter than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. These tablets come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixels density and a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a way worse resolution back camera and a lot worse video quality.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also cheap compared to the other tablet.
