Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a global score of 74.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also much thinner and much lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0, so it provides some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 2560 x 1600px resolution and a lot higher count of pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and 6 more processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much higher 8 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 43% larger battery capacity.
