The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1. Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is incredibly newer, extremely lighter and much thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a much better count of pixels per display inch. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a way higher resolution camera.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4900mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a lot cheaper.
