Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an overall score of 74.5, which is a lot better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 general score. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, so it offers lots of additional features. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 body is newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a larger screen, a way greater display pixels density and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features improved battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a much higher 8 MP resolution.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 costs more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
