Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, with a 75.2 score against 74.5. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's construction is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. These tablets use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both have the same pixels density, a same size screen and exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1600px.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has better 60 fps video frame rates. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 4900mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab S 8.4. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
