Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, getting a 76.7 score against 74.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's design is extremely newer and a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's, but it is also heavier. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has the previous 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1600 resolution, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also counts with a greater display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1 TB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a much more MP camera and a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 63% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, letting go some specs and features.
