Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 8, with a 74.4 score against 54.1. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older portable tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's somewhat thinner and a little lighter anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a little larger screen, a much greater pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more cpu cores.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.
