Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is just a bit better than Apple iPad 3, having a global score of 73.6 against 71.1. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch construction is noticeably newer, a lot lighter and thinner than Apple iPad 3. The iPad 3 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because although it has a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048, the iPad 3 also counts with a bigger display.
The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch counts with a greater hardware performance than Apple iPad 3, because it has a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
The Apple iPad 3 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Apple iPad 3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, although it has a lot lower (Full HD) video quality and a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera.
