Comparison review
Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, getting a score of 73.6 against 73.3. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch's design is noticeably thinner and noticeably lighter than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px and more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has a 7500mAh battery capacity. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a 8 MP back camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
