Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch is better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, having a global score of 73.6 against 66.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch's body is newer, somewhat lighter and much thinner than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch also has way more pixels per inch of display and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's camera is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a lot lower 1280x720 video definition and a lot lower resolution back camera.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch, because it has an 11% bigger battery size.
