Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is way better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a 74 score against 57.6. Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch is an older and somewhat heavier tablet than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but Samsung was able to build it way thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch has a bit faster processor than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch both have very similar displays, because although the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit smaller display and a little lower 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixels count per inch of screen. Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch also has more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch features just a little better battery duration than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 5870mAh battery capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch. Both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rates and a 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
