Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a general score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab S3's 75.2 global score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the previous 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Even being the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also an extremely older, incredibly heavier and a lot thicker tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a just a bit more pixels per screen inch, a slightly higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a little larger screen. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Tab S3 captures way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a much more MP camera in the back and a much better (4K) video quality.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a 37 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab S3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab S3, resigning a couple specifications.
