The Galaxy Tab S3 is better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), getting a overall score of 75.2 against 68.3. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version, giving you a couple additional features. Even though Galaxy Tab S3 is older and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), it's body is still noticeably thinner.

The Galaxy Tab S3 counts with a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a much better 1536 x 2048px resolution, a better display pixels density and a larger screen. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a larger aperture to take better images in low-light environments, a back camera with a much better resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy Tab S3 counts with superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is also cheaper.
