Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, with a 76.7 score against 75.2. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has an older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a notably newer device than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but it is a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite lower 1536 x 2048 resolution and a little less pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a very superior performance than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and lesser processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab S8 counts with better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab S8. Both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera in the back with a 13 MP resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab S3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab S3, letting go a couple specs and features.
