Comparison review

Google Pixel Slate has an overall score of 79.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4's general score of 78.8. The Google Pixel Slate is a heavier tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, but both have the same thickness. Google Pixel Slate counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab S4, because it has a just a bit better count of pixels in each screen inch, a better resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a bigger display.

The Google Pixel Slate features a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S4, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 12 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 features a much better camera than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, it also counts with a much better 13 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot higher (4K) video definition. The Galaxy Tab S4 has a superior battery duration than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab S4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab S4, giving up a couple features and specifications.
