Galaxy Tab S5e has a general score of 78.6, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 global score. The Galaxy Tab S5e is a much newer tablet, and it is also thinner and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S5e has a more recent 10 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a little bit larger display, much more pixels per inch of display and a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Galaxy Tab S5e counts with a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a higher amount of RAM and more cpu cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s battery life is just as good as the Galaxy Tab S5e one, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a 1 percent smaller battery size.
The Galaxy Tab S5e captures way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much more MP camera in the back and a much better (4K) video quality.
