Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S8 is better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, with a 76.7 score against 67.9. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S8 has a more recent 13 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4, providing lots of additional features. Even though Galaxy Tab S8 is noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, it's thinner and also much newer.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a little bit better pixel density. Galaxy Tab S8 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
