Galaxy Tab S8 is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), with a global score of 76.7 against 70.8. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S8 has a newer 13 version while Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version, providing the user lots of additional features. Galaxy Tab S8's design is way newer and a lot thinner than Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s, although it's also notably heavier.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a way smaller display and a lot worse 1200 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density. The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a much faster CPU than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser RAM and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a lot better camera than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a much higher (4K) video definition and a back camera with a way better 13 mega-pixels resolution.
Galaxy Tab S8 has a really longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 103% greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7 (2013). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Nexus 7 (2013), resigning some specifications.
