Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 9's overall score of 74.5. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0. Even though the Galaxy Tab S8 is somewhat heavier than Google Nexus 9, it's thinner and notably newer.

The Google Nexus 9 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a bit worse 2048 x 1536 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better quantity of pixels in each inch of screen. The Google Nexus 9 features a much greater processing power than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab S8 shoots better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 9, because it has a way more megapixels back facing camera and a much higher (4K) video resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has longer battery performance than Google Nexus 9, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 6700mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Nexus 9, resigning some features and specs.
