Galaxy Tab S8 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, getting a global score of 76.7 against 75.5. These tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version while Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Galaxy Tab S8 is a a lot newer and thinner tablet than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8, although it is also heavier.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a better looking display than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also counts with a greater pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a much faster CPU than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Galaxy Tab S8 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M5 8. Both of them have the same resolution back facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5100mAh.
