The Galaxy Tab S8 is better than the LG G Pad 8.3, with a 76.7 score against 65.9. Galaxy Tab S8's design is newer and much thinner than LG G Pad 8.3's, but it's extremely heavier. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S8 has a newer 13 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version.
The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has 4 less cpu cores (although faster) and less RAM memory. LG G Pad 8.3 features a sharper display than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lot lower 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, a much smaller display and a just a little less pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a slightly better camera than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way higher video definition. Galaxy Tab S8 has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a superior battery performance than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has an 8000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, resigning a couple specifications.
