The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has Android 13 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's design is newer, way thinner and lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a bit better display than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a little bit larger display, a way better display density and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has 128 GB internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface RT features a way better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 4 less cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a much better resolution back camera and a lot higher (4K) video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface RT.
