The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's 76.7 global score. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has Android 13 version, giving a lot of extra features. Despite being the best we are comparing here, GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a much older, somewhat thicker and a bit heavier device than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much better performing processor than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a way better screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also counts with a bit better pixel amount in each display inch.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab S8, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 shoots much better pictures and videos than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot higher 13 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

Even being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
