Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has an overall score of 76.7, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's global score of 66.5. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has the previous 13 version while Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's construction is newer and a lot thinner than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's, but it's also incredibly heavier.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a way smaller display, a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a lot lower pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a much better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 6,5 GB lesser RAM memory and 6 less CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S8 shoots way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, resigning a couple specs and features.
