Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is much better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, having a global score of 76.7 against 67.8. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's construction is extremely newer and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's, although it is just a little heavier. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has 13 version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has 4 less processing cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, a much lower count of pixels per inch of screen and a little smaller screen.
Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB and 112 GB more internal memory. Galaxy Tab S8 features just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 captures greater photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much more mega pixels back camera and a lot higher video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go a couple features and specs.
