Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a lot better than Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 76.7 score against 60.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), it's a lot thinner and also notably newer. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has older 13 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Galaxy Tab S8 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot better 1600 x 2560px resolution, more pixels per inch of screen and a much larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 1 TB and 120 GB more internal memory capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a much powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and less processing cores. The Galaxy Tab S8 features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy Tab S8 features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a back camera with a lot higher 13 megapixels resolution and a way higher (4K) video resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), giving up a couple features and specifications.
