Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, having a score of 76.7 against 74.2. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a more recent 13 version while Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has Android 11 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features and performance improvements. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite were released only a couple months apart, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's design is noticeably heavier but thinner.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite counts with a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. Galaxy Tab S8 has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has a much higher 1600 x 2560px resolution, a larger display and a way higher pixels number per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S8 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, because it has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot higher video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, resigning some features and specifications.
