Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, having a global score of 76.7 against 74.6. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has newer 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has Android 4.4, providing some extra features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8's construction is notably newer and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's, although it is also just a little bit heavier.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1600 x 2560, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also counts with a just a little greater screen density.
Galaxy Tab S8 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a much higher (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 96 GB more internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab S8, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
