The Galaxy Tab S8 has an overall score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's 74.3 global score. Even though the Galaxy Tab S8 is a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, it's a little bit thinner and incredibly newer. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S8 has an older 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2 version.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much better processing power than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab S8 features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab S8 takes better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has a much more megapixels camera in the back and a much higher video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab S 10.5. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
