The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a lot better than the Sony Tablet S, with a score of 76.7 against 57.5. Both tablets we compare here use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has newer 13 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version, so it provides lots of additional features and performance optimizations. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a much newer tablet device, and it's also somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than Sony Tablet S.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has just a bit better display than Sony Tablet S, because it has a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a larger display and a lot better screen pixels density. Sony Tablet S has a really superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Tablet S, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy Tab S8 features a much better camera than Sony Tablet S, because it has a back facing camera with a way better resolution and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Galaxy Tab S8 features a way better battery performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.
