Microsoft Surface Pro is much better than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, with a overall score of 63.2 against 56.4. Microsoft Surface Pro's design is somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi counts with Android 2.2 operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a much higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a lot bigger display and a quite better pixel number per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a better CPU than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has more cpu cores, a GPU and a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi counts with a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi captures much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi also has a lot more MP back facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
