The Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is better than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi's 56.4 score. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a notably thinner but incredibly heavier device than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi counts with Android 2.2 operating system.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a better processing unit than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lot smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a just a little better display density.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has an 8200mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
Samsung Ativ Tab captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, letting go some features and specifications.
