Comparison review

The Sony Tablet S has a score of 57.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi's overall score of 56.4. Sony Tablet S's construction is notably heavier but thinner than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS, but Sony Tablet S has newer 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi has Android 2.2, so it gives you a couple additional features.

The Sony Tablet S counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has more 1 GHz cores and 432 MB more RAM. Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi counts with a little bit better screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a lot worse 600 x 1024px resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher count of pixels in each inch in the screen.

Sony Tablet S captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video resolution, the Sony Tablet S also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels. Sony Tablet S has a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Sony Tablet S has longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi, letting go some features and specifications.
